Black Pine Circle School needed to update its brand to reflect the school’s dynamic and unique community of learning through the discovery-based education. The “Thought Circles” in the logo represent the intellectual vibrancy (ideas, questions, insights, and inspiration) that emerges from a Black Pine Circle education. The relationship between the circles, a larger one and a smaller one, reflects the engaged, personalized teacher/student relationship that is the core of the Black Pine Circle School experience. The tagline “A School of Thought” just makes the whole thing work.

The logo was a collaborative effort with Michael Furlong of McCann SF, and a whole lot of input from the Board of Directors at Black Pine Circle School.
